Cooper Croydon Convoy to MINI United 2009

This year we celebrate the 50th birthday of MINI.  To mark this milestone anniversary MINI held a festival called MINI United at Silverstone over the bank holiday weekend 23-25th May.  MINI enthusiasts from all over the world travelled to Silverstone to get together with all the other MINI lovers for a 3 day bash to celebrate 50 years of MINI mania!

As a dealership we invited our customers to join us on a big convoy to Silverstone setting off from Cooper Croydon.  We had a big number of MINI fanatics who took us up on this and in total we had 18 MINIs in our convoy.

Our customers gathered at the dealership in the morning for a spot of breakfast before setting off up the M40.

All our customers thouroughly enjoyed their MINI adventure to Silvestone and enjoyed a full day of activities including driving their own MINI on the Silverstone track and watching professional racing and stunts in classic and new MINIs.  Paul Weller entertained the crowds on Saturday evening which wrapped up a brilliant day!
